gopÄ«-gaṇera premera 'rÅ«á¸ha-bhÄva' nÄma
viÅ›uddha nirmala prema, kabhu nahe kÄma
gopÄ«-gaṇera - of the gopÄ«s; premera - of the love; rÅ«á¸ha-bhÄva - rÅ«á¸ha-bhÄva; nÄma - named; viÅ›uddha - pure; nirmala - spotless; prema - love; kabhu - at anytime; nahe - is not; kÄma - lust.
As already explained, the position of the gopÄ«s in their loving dealings with Kṛṣṇa is transcendental. Their emotion is called rÅ«á¸ha-bhÄva. Although it is apparently like mundane sex, one should not confuse it with mundane sexual love, for it is pure and unadulterated love of Godhead.
