aṣṭame 'caitanya-lÄ«lÄ-varṇana'-kÄraṇa
eka kṛṣṇa-nÄmera mahÄ-mahimÄ-kathana

 aṣṭame - in the Eighth Chapter; caitanya-lÄ«lÄ-varṇana-kÄraṇa - the reason for describing Caitanya MahÄprabhu's pastimes; eka - one; kṛṣṇa-nÄmera - of the holy name of Lord Kṛṣṇa; mahÄ-mahimÄ-kathana - description of great glories.

The eighth chapter gives the reason for describing Lord Caitanya’s pastimes. It also describes the greatness of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s holy name.
