tabu Å›rÄ«vÄsera citte nÄ janmila Å›oka

 Å›rÄ«vÄsa - of ÅšrÄ«vÄsa ṬhÄkura; putrera - of the son; tÄhÄá¹… - there; haila - took place; paraloka - death; tabu - still; Å›rÄ«vÄsera - of ÅšrÄ«vÄsa ṬhÄkura; citte - in the mind; nÄ - not; janmila - there was; Å›oka - lamentation.

At that time a calamity took place — ÅšrÄ«vÄsa ṬhÄkura’s son died. Yet ÅšrÄ«vÄsa ṬhÄkura was not at all sorry.
