Å›uniyÄ brÄhmaṇa garve varṇite lÄgilÄ
ghaá¹­Ä« eke Å›ata Å›loka gaá¹…gÄra varṇilÄ

 Å›uniyÄ - hearing this; brÄhmaṇa - the paṇá¸ita, KeÅ›ava KÄÅ›mÄ«rÄ«; garve - in pride; varṇite - to describe; lÄgilÄ - began; ghaá¹­Ä« - hour; eke - one; Å›ata - hundred; Å›loka - verses; gaá¹…gÄra - of the Ganges; varṇilÄ - described.

When the brÄhmaṇa, KeÅ›ava KÄÅ›mÄ«rÄ«, heard this, he became still more puffed up, and within one hour he composed one hundred verses describing mother Ganges.
