kaá¹sÄri sena - Kaá¹sÄri Sena; rÄmasena - RÄmasena; rÄmacandra kavirÄja - RÄmacandra KavirÄja; govinda - Govinda; Å›rÄ«raá¹…ga - ÅšrÄ«raá¹…ga; mukunda - Mukunda; tina kavirÄja - all three are KavirÄjas, or physicians.
ÅšrÄ« RÄmacandra KavirÄja, the son of Khaṇá¸avÄsÄ« CirañjÄ«va and Sunanda, was a disciple of ÅšrÄ«nivÄsa Ä€cÄrya and the most intimate friend of Narottama dÄsa ṬhÄkura, who prayed several times for his association. His youngest brother was Govinda KavirÄja. ÅšrÄ«la JÄ«va GosvÄmÄ« very much appreciated ÅšrÄ« RÄmacandra KavirÄja’s great devotion to Lord Kṛṣṇa and therefore gave him the title KavirÄja. ÅšrÄ« RÄmacandra KavirÄja, who was perpetually disinterested in family life, greatly assisted in the preaching work of ÅšrÄ«nivÄsa Ä€cÄrya and Narottama dÄsa ṬhÄkura. He resided at first in ÅšrÄ«khaṇá¸a but later in the village of KumÄranagara, on the bank of the Ganges.
Govinda KavirÄja was the brother of RÄmacandra KavirÄja and youngest son of CirañjÄ«va of ÅšrÄ«khaṇá¸a. Although at first a Å›Äkta, or worshiper of goddess DurgÄ, he was later initiated by ÅšrÄ«nivÄsa Ä€cÄrya Prabhu. Govinda KavirÄja also resided first in ÅšrÄ«khaṇá¸a and then in KumÄra-nagara, but later he moved to the village known as TeliyÄ Budhari, on the southern bank of the river PadmÄ. Since Govinda KavirÄja, the author of two books, Saá¹…gÄ«ta-mÄdhava and GÄ«tÄmá¹›ta, was a great Vaiṣṇava kavi, or poet, ÅšrÄ«la JÄ«va GosvÄmÄ« gave him the title KavirÄja. He is described in the Bhakti-ratnÄkara (Ninth Wave).
Kaá¹sÄri Sena was formerly RatnÄvalÄ« in Vraja, as described in the Gaura-gaṇoddeÅ›a-dÄ«pikÄ (194 and 200).
