ÅšrÄ« ParamÄnanda UpÄdhyÄya was an advanced devotee. His name is mentioned in the Caitanya-bhÄgavata, where ÅšrÄ« JÄ«va Paṇá¸ita is also mentioned as the second son of Ratnagarbha Ä€cÄrya and a childhood friend of HÄá¸Äi OjhÄ, the father of NityÄnanda Prabhu. In the Gaura-gaṇoddeÅ›a-dÄ«pikÄ (169) it is said that ÅšrÄ« JÄ«va Paṇá¸ita was formerly the gopÄ« named IndirÄ.
