sei vÄ«rabhadra-gosÄñira la-inu Å›araṇa
yÄá¹…hÄra prasÄde haya abhīṣṭa-pÅ«raṇa

 sei - that; vÄ«rabhadra-gosÄñira - of ÅšrÄ« VÄ«rabhadra GosÄñi; la-inu - I take; Å›araṇa - shelter; yÄá¹…hÄra - whose; prasÄde - by mercy; haya - it becomes so; abhīṣṭa-pÅ«raṇa - fulfillment of desire.


Text

I therefore take shelter of the lotus feet of VÄ«rabhadra GosÄñi, so that by His mercy my great desire to write ÅšrÄ« Caitanya-caritÄmá¹›ta will be properly guided.
