bhakte - unto devotees; ká¹›pÄ - mercy; karena - bestows; prabhu - Lord Caitanya; e - these; tina - three; svarÅ«pe - features; sÄká¹£Ät - directly; ÄveÅ›a - empowered by the Lord; Ära - and; ÄvirbhÄva - appearance; rÅ«pe - in the features.
Lord ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu bestows His causeless mercy upon His devotees in three features: His own direct appearance [sÄká¹£Ät], His prowess within someone He empowers [ÄveÅ›a], and His manifestation [ÄvirbhÄva].
The sÄká¹£Ät feature of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu is His personal presence. Ä€veÅ›a refers to invested power, like that invested in Nakula BrahmacÄrÄ«. Ä€virbhÄva is a manifestation of the Lord that appears even though He is personally not present. For example, ÅšrÄ« ÅšacÄ«mÄtÄ offered food at home to ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu although He was far away in JagannÄtha PurÄ«, and when she opened her eyes after offering the food, she saw that it had actually been eaten by ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu. Similarly, when ÅšrÄ«vÄsa ṬhÄkura performed saá¹…kÄ«rtana, everyone felt the presence of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu, even in His absence. This is another example of ÄvirbhÄva.
