nÄrÄyaṇa-paṇá¸ita eka baá¸a-i udÄra
caitanya-caraṇa vinu nÄhi jÄne Ära

 nÄrÄyaṇa-paṇá¸ita - NÄrÄyaṇa Paṇá¸ita; eka - one; baá¸ai - very; udÄra - liberal; caitanya-caraṇa - the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya; vinu - except; nÄhi - not; jÄne - know; Ära - anything else.

NÄrÄyaṇa Paṇá¸ita, the fourteenth branch, a great and liberal devotee, did not know any shelter but Lord Caitanya’s lotus feet.

Purport

NÄrÄyaṇa Paṇá¸ita was one of the associates of ÅšrÄ«vÄsa ṬhÄkura. It is mentioned in the Caitanya-bhÄgavata, Antya-khaṇá¸a, eighth chapter, verse 36, that he went to see ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu at JagannÄtha PurÄ« with the ṬhÄkura’s brother ÅšrÄ« RÄma Paṇá¸ita.
