balabhadra bhaá¹á¹ÄcÄrya - Balabhadra Bhaá¹á¹ÄcÄrya; bhakti adhikÄrÄ« - bona fide devotee; mathurÄ-gamane - while touring MathurÄ; prabhura - of the Lord; yeá¹…ho - who; brahmacÄrÄ« - acted as a brahmacÄrÄ«.
As a bona fide devotee, Balabhadra Bhaá¹á¹ÄcÄrya, the twenty-third principal associate, acted as the brahmacÄrÄ« of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu when He toured MathurÄ.
Balabhadra Bhaá¹á¹ÄcÄrya acted as a brahmacÄrÄ«, or personal assistant of a sannyÄsÄ«. A sannyÄsÄ« is not supposed to cook. Generally a sannyÄsÄ« takes prasÄdam at the house of a gá¹›hastha, and a brahmacÄrÄ« helps in this connection. A sannyÄsÄ« is supposed to be a spiritual master and a brahmacÄrÄ« his disciple. Balabhadra Bhaá¹á¹ÄcÄrya acted as a brahmacÄrÄ« for ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu when the Lord toured MathurÄ and Vá¹›ndÄvana.
