tÄá¹…hÄra sÄdhana-rÄ«ti Å›unite camatkÄra
sei rÅ«pa-raghunÄtha prabhu ye ÄmÄra
tÄá¹…hÄra - his; sÄdhana-rÄ«ti - process of devotional service; Å›unite - to hear; camatkÄra - wonderful; sei - that; rÅ«pa - ÅšrÄ« RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ«; raghunÄtha - RaghunÄtha dÄsa GosvÄmÄ«; prabhu - lord; ye - that; ÄmÄra - my.
ÅšrÄ«la KṛṣṇadÄsa KavirÄja GosvÄmÄ« accepted RaghunÄtha dÄsa GosvÄmÄ« as his special guide. Therefore at the end of every chapter he says, Å›rÄ«-rÅ«pa-raghunÄtha-pade yÄra ÄÅ›a caitanya-caritÄmá¹›ta kahe kṛṣṇadÄsa. Sometimes it is misunderstood that by using the word raghunÄtha he wanted to offer his respectful obeisances to RaghunÄtha Bhaá¹á¹a GosvÄmÄ«, for it is sometimes stated that RaghunÄtha Bhaá¹á¹a GosvÄmÄ« was his initiating spiritual master. ÅšrÄ«la BhaktisiddhÄnta SarasvatÄ« GosvÄmÄ« does not approve of this statement; he does not accept RaghunÄtha Bhaá¹á¹a GosvÄmÄ« as the spiritual master of ÅšrÄ«la KṛṣṇadÄsa KavirÄja GosvÄmÄ«.
