न ममार पिता तस्य विप्रदेवप्रसादतः ।
युवनाश्वोऽथ तत्रैव तपसा सिद्धिमन्वगात् ॥३२॥

na mamÄra pitÄ tasya
vipra-deva-prasÄdataḥ
yuvanÄÅ›vo 'tha tatraiva
tapasÄ siddhim anvagÄt

 na - not; mamÄra - died; pitÄ - the father; tasya - of the baby; vipra-deva-prasÄdataḥ - because of the mercy and blessings of the brÄhmaṇas; yuvanÄÅ›vaḥ - King YuvanÄÅ›va; atha - thereafter; tatra eva - in that very place; tapasÄ - by executing austerity; siddhim - perfection; anvagÄt - achieved.

Because YuvanÄÅ›va, the father of the baby, was blessed by the brÄhmaṇas, he did not fall a victim to death. After this incident, he performed severe austerities and achieved perfection in that very spot.
