उत्थितास्ते निशम्याथ व्युदकं कलशं प्रभो ।
पप्रच्छुः कस्य कर्मेदं पीतं पुंसवनं जलम् ॥२८॥

 utthitÄḥ - after awakening; te - all of them; niÅ›amya - seeing; atha - thereafter; vyudakam - empty; kalaÅ›am - the waterpot; prabho - O King ParÄ«ká¹£it; papracchuḥ - inquired; kasya - whose; karma - act; idam - this; pÄ«tam - drunk; puá¹savanam - which was to cause the birth of a child; jalam - water.

When the brÄhmaṇas got up from bed and saw the waterpot empty, they inquired who had done this work of drinking the water meant for begetting a child.
