यः प्रियार्थमुतङ्कस्य धुन्धुनामासुरं बली ।
सुतानामेकविंशत्या सहस्रैरहनद् वृतः ॥२२॥

dhundhu-nÄmÄsuraá¹ balÄ«
sutÄnÄm eka-vimÅ›atyÄ
sahasrair ahanad vṛtaḥ

 yaḥ - he who; priya-artham - for the satisfaction; utaá¹…kasya - of the great sage Utaá¹…ka; dhundhu-nÄma - of the name Dhundhu; asuram - a demon; balÄ« - very powerful (KuvalayÄÅ›va); sutÄnÄm - of sons; eka-vimÅ›atyÄ - by twenty-one; sahasraiḥ - thousands; ahanat - killed; vá¹›taḥ - surrounded.

To satisfy the sage Utaá¹…ka, the greatly powerful KuvalayÄÅ›va killed a demon named Dhundhu. He did this with the assistance of his twenty-one thousand sons.
