राजा तमकृताहारः प्रत्यागमनकाङ्क्षया ।

 rÄjÄ - the King; tam - unto him, DurvÄsÄ Muni; aká¹›ta-ÄhÄraḥ - who refrained from taking food; pratyÄgamana - returning; kÄá¹…ká¹£ayÄ - desiring; caraṇau - the feet; upasaá¹…gá¹›hya - approaching; prasÄdya - pleasing in all respects; samabhojayat - fed sumptuously.

Expecting the return of DurvÄsÄ Muni, the King had not taken his food. Therefore, when the sage returned, the King fell at his lotus feet, pleasing him in all respects, and fed him sumptuously.
