Chapter 4: Ambarisha Maharaja Offended by Durvasa Muni. Text 49

तदभिद्रवदुद्वीक्ष्य स्वप्रयासं च निष्फलम् ।
दुर्वासा दुद्रुवे भीतो दिक्षु प्राणपरीप्सया ॥४९॥

tad-abhidravad udvīkṣya
sva-prayÄsaá¹ ca niá¹£phalam
durvÄsÄ dudruve bhÄ«to
diká¹£u prÄṇa-parÄ«psayÄ

 tat - of that disc; abhidravat - moving toward him; udvÄ«ká¹£ya - after seeing; sva-prayÄsam - his own attempt; ca - and; niá¹£phalam - having failed; durvÄsÄḥ - DurvÄsÄ Muni; dudruve - began to run; bhÄ«taḥ - full of fear; diká¹£u - in every direction; prÄṇa-parÄ«psayÄ - with a desire to save his life.

Upon seeing that his own attempt had failed and that the SudarÅ›ana cakra was moving toward him, DurvÄsÄ Muni became very frightened and began to run in all directions to save his life.
