वासुदेवे भगवति तद्भक्तेषु च साधुषु ।
प्राप्तो भावं परं विश्वं येनेदं लोष्ट्रवत् स्मृतम् ॥१७॥

vÄsudeve bhagavati
tad-bhakteá¹£u ca sÄdhuá¹£u
prÄpto bhÄvaá¹ paraá¹ viÅ›vaá¹
yenedaṠloṣṭravat smṛtam

 vÄsudeve - unto the all-pervading Supreme Personality; bhagavati - unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead; tat-bhakteá¹£u - unto His devotees; ca - also; sÄdhuá¹£u - unto the saintly persons; prÄptaḥ - one who has achieved; bhÄvam - reverence and devotion; param - transcendental; viÅ›vam - the whole material universe; yena - by which (spiritual consciousness); idam - this; loṣṭra-vat - as insignificant as a piece of stone; smá¹›tam - is accepted (by such devotees).

MahÄrÄja AmbarÄ«á¹£a was a great devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, VÄsudeva, and of the saintly persons who are the Lord’s devotees. Because of this devotion, he thought of the entire universe as being as insignificant as a piece of stone.
