Chapter 22: The Descendants of Ajamidha. Text 6

वसुस्तस्योपरिचरो बृहद्रथमुखास्ततः ।
कुशाम्बमत्स्यप्रत्यग्रचेदिपाद्याश्च चेदिपाः ॥६॥

vasus tasyoparicaro
bá¹›hadratha-mukhÄs tataḥ
kuÅ›Ämba-matsya-pratyagra-
cedipÄdyÄÅ› ca cedipÄḥ

 vasuḥ - a son named Vasu; tasya - of him (Ká¹›tÄ«); uparicaraḥ - the surname of Vasu; bá¹›hadratha-mukhÄḥ - headed by Bá¹›hadratha; tataḥ - from him (Vasu); kuÅ›Ämba - KuÅ›Ämba; matsya - Matsya; pratyagra - Pratyagra; cedipa-ÄdyÄḥ - Cedipa and others; ca - also; cedi-pÄḥ - all of them became rulers of the Cedi state.

The son of Ká¹›tÄ« was Uparicara Vasu, and among his sons, headed by Bá¹›hadratha, were KuÅ›Ämba, Matsya, Pratyagra and Cedipa. All the sons of Uparicara Vasu became rulers of the Cedi state.
