सुनीथः सत्यजिदथ विश्वजिद् यद् रिपुञ्जयः ।
बार्हद्रथाश्च भूपाला भाव्याः साहस्रवत्सरम् ॥४९॥

viśvajid yad ripuñjayaḥ
bÄrhadrathÄÅ› ca bhÅ«pÄlÄ
bhÄvyÄḥ sÄhasra-vatsaram

 sunÄ«thaḥ - from Subala will come SunÄ«tha; satyajit - Satyajit; atha - from him; viÅ›vajit - from ViÅ›vajit; yat - from whom; ripuñjayaḥ - Ripuñjaya; bÄrhadrathÄḥ - all in the line of Bá¹›hadratha; ca - also; bhÅ«pÄlÄḥ - all those kings; bhÄvyÄḥ - will take birth; sÄhasra-vatsaram - continuously for one thousand years.

From Subala will come Sunītha; from Sunītha, Satyajit; from Satyajit, Viśvajit; and from Viśvajit, Ripuñjaya. All of these personalities will belong to the dynasty of Bṛhadratha, which will rule the world for one thousand years.

Purport

This is the history of a monarchy that began with JarÄsandha and continues for one thousand years as the above-mentioned kings appear on the surface of the globe.
