तथापि चानुसवनं तृष्णा तेषूपजायते ॥१८॥
pūrṇaṠvarṣa-sahasraṠme
viá¹£ayÄn sevato 'saká¹›t
tathÄpi cÄnusavanaá¹
tá¹›á¹£á¹‡Ä teṣūpajÄyate
pÅ«rṇam - completely; vará¹£a-sahasram - one thousand years; me - my; viá¹£ayÄn - sense gratification; sevataḥ - enjoying; asaká¹›t - without cessation, continuously; tathÄ api - still; ca - indeed; anusavanam - more and more; tá¹›á¹£á¹‡Ä - lusty desires; teá¹£u - in sense gratification; upajÄyate - are increased.
I have spent a full one thousand years enjoying sense gratification, yet my desire to enjoy such pleasure increases daily.
