वीक्ष्य व्रजन्तं गिरिशं सह देव्या वृषस्थितम् ।
सहसोत्तीर्य वासांसि पर्यधुर्व्रीडिताः स्त्रियः ॥९॥

 vÄ«ká¹£ya - seeing; vrajantam - passing by; giriÅ›am - Lord Åšiva; saha - with; devyÄ - PÄrvatÄ«, the wife of Lord Åšiva; vṛṣa-sthitam - seated upon his bull; sahasÄ - quickly; uttÄ«rya - getting out of the water; vÄsÄá¹si - garments; paryadhuḥ - put on the body; vrÄ«á¸itÄḥ - being ashamed; striyaḥ - the young girls.

While sporting in the water, the girls suddenly saw Lord Åšiva passing by, seated on the back of his bull with his wife, PÄrvatÄ«. Ashamed because they were naked, the girls quickly got out of the water and covered themselves with their garments.
