षष्टिं वर्षसहस्राणि षष्टिं वर्षशतानि च ।
नालर्कादपरो राजन् बुभुजे मेदिनीं युवा ॥७॥

á¹£aṣṭiá¹ vará¹£a-sahasrÄṇi
á¹£aṣṭiá¹ vará¹£a-Å›atÄni ca
nÄlarkÄd aparo rÄjan
bubhuje medinÄ«á¹ yuvÄ

 á¹£aṣṭim - sixty; vará¹£a-sahasrÄṇi - such thousands of years; á¹£aṣṭim - sixty; vará¹£a-Å›atÄni - hundreds of years; ca - also; na - not; alarkÄt - except for Alarka; aparaḥ - anyone else; rÄjan - O King ParÄ«ká¹£it; bubhuje - enjoyed; medinÄ«m - the surface of the world; yuvÄ - as a young man.

Alarka, the son of DyumÄn, reigned over the earth for sixty-six thousand years, my dear King ParÄ«ká¹£it. No one other than him has reigned over the earth for so long as a young man.
