gatvÄ - going; mÄhiá¹£matÄ«m - to the place known as MÄhiá¹£matÄ«; rÄmaḥ - Lord ParaÅ›urÄma; brahma-ghna - because of the killing of a brÄhmaṇa; vihata-Å›riyam - doomed, bereft of all opulences; teá¹£Äm - of all of them (the sons of KÄrtavÄ«ryÄrjuna and the other ká¹£atriya inhabitants); saḥ - he, Lord ParaÅ›urÄma; śīrá¹£abhiḥ - by the heads cut off from their bodies; rÄjan - O MahÄrÄja ParÄ«ká¹£it; madhye - within the jurisdiction of MÄhiá¹£matÄ«; cakre - made; mahÄ-girim - a great mountain.
