tataḥ - from him (Budha); purÅ«ravÄḥ - the son named PurÅ«ravÄ; jajñe - was born; ilÄyÄm - in the womb of IlÄ; yaḥ - one who; udÄhá¹›taḥ - has already been described (in the beginning of the Ninth Canto); tasya - his (PurÅ«ravÄ's); rÅ«pa - beauty; guṇa - qualities; audÄrya - magnanimity; śīla - behavior; draviṇa - wealth; vikramÄn - power; Å›rutvÄ - by hearing; urvaśī - the celestial woman named Urvaśī; indra-bhavane - in the court of King Indra; gÄ«yamÄnÄn - when they were being described; sura-ṛṣiá¹‡Ä - by NÄrada; tat-antikam - near him; upeyÄya - approached; devÄ« - Urvaśī; smara-Å›ara - by the arrows of Cupid; arditÄ - being stricken.
