एवं कृतशिरःस्नानः सुवासाः स्रग्व्यलङ्कृतः ।
स्वलङ्कृतैः सुवासोभिर्भ्रातृभिर्भार्यया बभौ ॥४९॥

evaá¹ ká¹›ta-Å›iraḥ-snÄnaḥ
suvÄsÄḥ sragvy-alaá¹…ká¹›taḥ
svalaá¹…ká¹›taiḥ suvÄsobhir
bhrÄtá¹›bhir bhÄryayÄ babhau

 evam - thus; ká¹›ta-Å›iraḥ-snÄnaḥ - having completely bathed, washing the head; su-vÄsÄḥ - being nicely dressed; sragvi-alaá¹…ká¹›taḥ - being decorated with a garland; su-alaá¹…ká¹›taiḥ - decorated nicely; su-vÄsobhiḥ - dressed nicely; bhrÄtá¹›bhiḥ - with His brothers; bhÄryayÄ - and with His wife, SÄ«tÄ; babhau - the Lord became very brilliant.

Lord RÄmacandra, fully bathed and His head clean-shaven, dressed Himself very nicely and was decorated with a garland and ornaments. Thus He shone brightly, surrounded by His brothers and wife, who were similarly dressed and ornamented.
