मरीचिर्मनसस्तस्य जज्ञे तस्यापि कश्यपः ।
दाक्षायण्यां ततोऽदित्यां विवस्वानभवत् सुतः ॥१०॥

vivasvÄn abhavat sutaḥ

 marÄ«ciḥ - the great saintly person known as MarÄ«ci; manasaḥ tasya - from the mind of Lord BrahmÄ; jajñe - took birth; tasya api - from MarÄ«ci; kaÅ›yapaḥ - KaÅ›yapa (took birth); dÄká¹£ÄyaṇyÄm - in the womb of the daughter of MahÄrÄja Daká¹£a; tataḥ - thereafter; adityÄm - in the womb of Aditi; vivasvÄn - VivasvÄn; abhavat - took birth; sutaḥ - a son.

From the mind of Lord BrahmÄ, MarÄ«ci took birth, from the semen of MarÄ«ci, KaÅ›yapa appeared, and from KaÅ›yapa, by the womb of Daká¹£a’s daughter Aditi, VivasvÄn took birth.
