श्रीराजोवाच
मन्वन्तराणि सर्वाणि त्वयोक्तानि श्रुतानि मे ।
वीर्याण्यनन्तवीर्यस्य हरेस्तत्र कृतानि च ॥१॥

manvantarÄṇi sarvÄṇi
tvayoktÄni Å›rutÄni me
vÄ«ryÄṇy ananta-vÄ«ryasya
hares tatra ká¹›tÄni ca

 Å›rÄ«-rÄjÄ uvÄca - King ParÄ«ká¹£it said; manvantarÄṇi - all about the periods of the various Manus; sarvÄṇi - all of them; tvayÄ - by you; uktÄni - have been described; Å›rutÄni - have been listened to; me - by me; vÄ«ryÄṇi - wonderful activities; ananta-vÄ«ryasya - of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who has unlimited potency; hareḥ - of the Supreme Lord, Hari; tatra - in those manvantara periods; ká¹›tÄni - which have been performed; ca - also.

King ParÄ«ká¹£it said: My lord, Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ«, you have elaborately described all the periods of the various Manus and, within those periods, the wonderful activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who has unlimited potency. I am fortunate to have heard all of this from you.
