 patnÄ«-saá¹yÄja - the ritual in which the sponsor of the sacrifice offers oblations together with his wife; avabhá¹›thyaiḥ - and the final rituals, known as avabhá¹›thya; caritvÄ - having executed; te - they; mahÄṛṣayaḥ - the great sages; sasnuḥ - bathed; rÄma - of Lord ParaÅ›urÄma; hrade - in the lake; viprÄḥ - brÄhmaṇas; yajamÄna - the sponsor of the sacrifice (Vasudeva); puraḥ-sarÄḥ - placing in front.

After supervising the patnÄ«-saá¹yÄja and avabhá¹›thya rituals, the great brÄhmaṇa sages bathed in Lord ParaÅ›urÄma’s lake with the sponsor of the sacrifice, Vasudeva, who led them.
