Purport

In almost all the cities and towns of India there are temples of HanumÄnjÄ«, the eternal servant of Lord RÄmacandra. There is even a temple of HanumÄn near GovindajÄ« temple in Vá¹›ndÄvana. Formerly this temple was in front of the GopÄlajÄ« temple, but the GopÄlajÄ« Deity went to Orissa to remain as SÄká¹£i-gopÄla. Being the eternal servant of Lord RÄmacandra, HanumÄnjÄ« has been respectfully worshiped for many hundreds and thousands of years. Here even Lord ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu set the example in showing how one should offer respects to HanumÄnjÄ«.
