Purport

ÅšrÄ«la RÄmÄnanda RÄya was an incarnation of the gopÄ« ViÅ›ÄkhÄ. Since ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu was Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself, there was naturally an awakening of love between ViÅ›ÄkhÄ and Kṛṣṇa. ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa Caitanya MahÄprabhu is the combination of ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī and Kṛṣṇa, and the gopÄ« ViÅ›ÄkhÄ is a principal gopÄ« assisting ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī. Thus the natural love between RÄmÄnanda RÄya and ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu awakened and they embraced.
